May Crowning Ceremony.

blessed_virgin_maryThe St. Michael School community in Livonia, MI, recently held its annual May Crowning Ceremony.

The entire school gathered in St. Michael’s Church where the eighth graders led the Living Rosary. They proclaimed meditations on the mysteries of the rosary and led the prayers for the rest of the student body.

S Grace Marie DelPriore said the second graders also helped, dressed in their First Communion dresses and suits. Two of them had the honor of crowning the statue of Mary, God’s Mother.

According to Sister Grace, “It was a lovely and moving event for those present.”
